Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use tracks in a YouTube video?
Yes — an Indie license covers YouTube and social media use without any limits. Just mention Logic Moon in the video description and you're good to go.
Are Freesound uploads available for commercial use?
Sounds on Freesound are published under Creative Commons and free for non-commercial use with attribution. For commercial use beyond those terms, simply grab an Indie or Commercial license here.
What's the difference between Indie and Commercial?
It's about the nature and scale of your project — not the number of plays or views. Indie covers smaller, independent productions. Commercial covers advertising, larger apps, and professional productions with a direct revenue model.
Do I need to credit me?
For the Free / CC tier, yes — attribution is required. For Indie and Commercial licenses, attribution is appreciated but not mandatory.
Can I use the same license for multiple projects?
Each license covers one track or sound for unlimited use within a single project. If you need the same audio across multiple projects, you'll need a separate license per project — or get in touch for a bundle arrangement.
Can I get an exclusive license?
Yes — exclusive licenses are available for Sync / Broadcast projects. This means the track would no longer be licensed to other parties after the agreement. Reach out to discuss terms and pricing.
Can I license a full album or multiple tracks at once?
Absolutely. If you're looking to license several tracks or an entire release, get in touch directly and we'll work out a custom package.
How fast do I get a reply?
Usually within 1–3 business days. For urgent requests, mention it in your message and I'll do my best to get back to you sooner.
What format will I receive after purchase?
After confirming your license, you'll receive a download link for the track or sound in high-quality WAV format, along with a simple license document for your records.
I'm not sure which license I need — what should I do?
Just reach out via the form below with a brief description of your project. I'll point you in the right direction — no commitment required.
