Looking Back at 2025 and Forward to 2026
A year of gratitude, evolution, and exciting new directions for Logic Moon and Aethery Fields
As we step into the new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on what 2025 brought and share what’s ahead for Logic Moon and my other projects. Grab a cup of tea, settle in, and let me tell you about an exciting journey.
A Year of Gratitude
First and foremost, thank you to everyone who supported me throughout 2025. Your listens, likes, reposts, and especially your support on Bandcamp meant the world to me.
Here’s something that still amazes me: despite making all my 2025 releases available for free, I achieved a revenue record. Let that sink in for a moment. In an era where music is often consumed without compensation, you chose to support the work. You understood that “name your price” doesn’t mean “take it for free” – it means supporting art you value.
This was only possible because of you, and I’m deeply grateful. Every purchase, every kind message, every share on social media – it all matters more than you know.
The Evolution Continues
If you’ve been following Logic Moon for a while, you’ve witnessed an evolution. What started as lighter ambient explorations has gradually moved into darker, more cinematic territories. This wasn’t a planned shift – it was organic, driven by where the music wanted to go and where I felt most creatively fulfilled.
But here’s what I’ve realized: I need space for both sides of my musical personality.
A New Direction for 2026
This year marks a significant shift in how I approach my musical projects. I’m refining the identity of each to create distinct sonic spaces – think of it as giving each side of my creative voice its own home.
Logic Moon: Deeper into Cinematic Territories
Logic Moon will focus even more strongly on cinematic ambient and neoclassical compositions. If 2025 was about exploring darker atmospheres, 2026 is about mastering them.
Expect:
- Atmospheric depths that pull you into immersive soundscapes
- Orchestral elements woven with synthesizers and field recordings
- Longer-form compositions that unfold like film scores without the film
- Darker textures that embrace the shadows without losing hope
If you’ve been following the evolution from lighter ambient to more cinematic territory, 2026 will take that journey further. This is Logic Moon at its most focused and intentional.

Aethery Fields: A Space for Lighter Moments
But what about those moments when you need something gentler? When the weight of the world feels heavy and you need music that lifts rather than challenges?
That’s where Aethery Fields comes in.
I’m developing this project as a dedicated space for easy listening ambient and drone – music that breathes, that gives you space, that doesn’t demand your full attention but rewards it when given.
Aethery Fields embraces:
- Tape textures and analog warmth
- Asian influences and pentatonic scales
- Subtle experimental touches that keep things interesting
- Drone foundations with melodic elements floating above
- A counterbalance to Logic Moon’s intensity
Think of it as the yin to Logic Moon’s yang. Where Logic Moon goes deep and dark, Aethery Fields stays light and open. Both are essential, both are true to who I am as an artist.

Label Release
An album is on its way to being released on a very well-known label in the ambient space. I can’t reveal which label just yet, but this is a milestone I’ve been working toward for years. The album represents some of my most refined work – compositions that took months to sculpt, field recordings from meaningful locations, and a sonic palette that feels both familiar and fresh.
More details will follow in the coming weeks.
Collaborations
Two exciting collaborations have been in development over the past months:
Diogene – Our creative processes complement each other in unexpected ways. Where I tend toward structure, they bring beautiful chaos, resulting in something neither of us could have created alone.
Piscean DayDreams – This project leans into lush textures and emotional landscapes. Think late-night drives through empty cities, or watching storms roll in from a safe distance.
Both projects exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
The Big One: Third Album with Sven Laux
And last but not least: Sven Laux and I will be releasing our third collaborative album this year.
Our first collaboration was about discovering how we work together. The second was about refining that process. This third album? It’s about pushing everything as far as it can go.
We’ve taken risks. We’ve tried things that scared us. We’ve thrown away hours of work when it didn’t feel right, and we’ve celebrated breakthrough moments when everything suddenly clicked.
I can tell you one thing with absolute certainty: this is going to be our most powerful work yet.

Final Thoughts
As I write this, I’m sitting in my home studio in Mainz, looking at the year ahead with excitement and a bit of healthy nervousness. So much work has already been done, and so much more is coming.
What keeps me going is knowing there are people out there – you – who care about this music. Who listen deeply. Who support it not because you have to, but because it means something to you.
That connection, that shared love of atmospheric sound, of spaces between notes, of music that asks for patience and rewards it with depth – that’s what this is all about.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for listening. Thank you for supporting.
Here’s to a great 2026. Let’s see where the music takes us.
